Show Love Spread Love: The Get Down
In a world full of turmoil, one artist in particular is pushing a specific message, show love spread love. With recent events in North Carolina, many touring artists have cancelled their headline shows in protest of LGBT laws, but sax master Grant Kwiecinski, also known as GRiZ, has chosen the opposite and is spreading his message loud and clear in the little gem of a town called Asheville. Being hosted at the U.S. Cellular Arena, this is the second year of GRiZ New Year's gathering in Asheville, but luckily for all of us, has expanded to 2 days this year.
Providing the funkiest music to absolute ragers, GRiZ has blessed us all with a complete live band set for night one to get the east coast funkiest party rolling. As night one features opening support from DJ Craze(providing a special Hip-Hop set) and The Nth Power to get things started, the GRiZ Live Band is sure to be full of special guests and a spectacle that should not be missed.
If you're more into getting down like animals, no worries, night 2 will feature some of the absolute best up and coming producers in Ekali and Brasstracks, as well as the famous GRiZ Dj set that is sure to have you bouncing all over the venue. If you've ever seen this guy play live, you know what an absolute blast his sets are, but if you've not, this is the perfect event to get your fix of funk and raging all while making a new favorite artist.
